Here’s how to bring to light all that you’ve accomplished in your academic career and to demonstrate what makes you special.

Reach out to the admissions counselors of the schools to which you are applying

• Do this early on in the process if possible so you may ask questions and learn more about information sessions offered by the school

• Some counselors are willing to review your application before you submit it

• Your regional counselor may be coming to your high school for a personal visit, be sure to attend

• Regional counselors are often the first to read submitted applications

• Be conscious of due dates
